PowerDIFF for ORACLE - Compare Wizard
PowerDIFF (in the diff mode) operates as a highly flexible compare wizard. Thereby the following objects can be inspected, scripted and compared to each other - for two schemas, two databases or even two individually defined subsets of database objects:
- Tables - columns, storage/size parameter, data
- Indexes - columns, storage/size parameter, data
- Constraints - PK, FK (internal/external), check, columns, data
- Views - source code, data
- Procedures, Functions - source code, status
- Trigger - columns, source code, status
- User, Roles, Privileges - data
- Database Instance Parameter - data

Currently the following versions of PowerDIFF for ORACLE are available:
- PowerDIFF for ORACLE 1.1, Standard Edition.
- PowerDIFF for ORACLE 1.1, Professional Edition.
The Standard Edition and Professional Edition differ by the number and size of the objects that can be handled and by some functional difference.
Limitations for the Standard Edition:
- 1024 database objects per type (tables, indexes, constraints ...)
- 256 columns per table / view
- 256 rows of trigger / function / procedure source code
- 512 kB BLOB/CLOB data size
- diff script: order of lines follows alphabetical order of objects.
Limitations for the Professional Edition:
- 131072 database objects per type (tables, indexes, constraints ...)
- 1000 columns per table / view
- 2048 rows of trigger / function / procedure source code
- 16 MB BLOB/CLOB data size
- diff script: correct order of lines in the referential sense.
